Measurements Explained
Arched polyurethane window and door casing moldings:
When using polyurethane arches for an arched doorway or round top window casing you must be sure that the shape of the arch is a semicircle, not an oval or oblong shape.
These arched polyurethane casings form one quarter circle each. If you are trying to complete a full circle you will need a total of four arched casings or two pieces for a semi circle casing design for round top windows or door casings.
These particular arched casings are not "Flexible Moldings". These are preformed polyurethane casings that maintain a radius as outlined within the individual listing above.

When measuring for your window, door casing or ceiling medallion surround, keep in mind that the outside radius mentioned above is the distance from the center of the circle to the outside edge of the arched molding or casing, the inside radius is the distance to the inner edge of the molding which would match up to the top of your door, window or frame. If you have an archway that has a diameter of 50" you would want to select a molding that has an inside radius of around 25" (or slightly more).
